The Summer 2007 Smart Board Collaborative offered the opportunity for educators to study the best practices for integrating the interactive white board in the classroom and meet the needs of our 21st century learners. Forty teachers learned how to utilize this 21st century tool to engage students in the learning process. This collaborative focused on high-quality, sustained professional development and provided teachers with the knowledge, support, and materials to improve their teaching and positively impact their students’ achievement.
