So far, I love my del.icio.us account. Also, I appreciated the basic notebook review bc I have not been to any previous training. Information about the copyright rules and where to get free pics was helpful.
My goals for this week are to create some lesson materials for math and writing that I can use this year.

Amy Gosla and I are creating interactive lessons for our Sitton Spelling program. I really like the grouping feature on the new version 10 software so that we can put the entire spelling unit in groups on one smart board lesson. No more trying to find the specific lesson in the billions of files that I have saved on my site!

I have been tagging recommended websites to my new delicious account and that has been a helpful feature. I will spend time later really looking at these sites.
I hope to have three lessons for “get to know you” activities for my 6th, 7th, 8th classes before the end of the week.

The three new ideas I learned about today is the delicious account, the depth of the Smartboard resource page on our website, and the basics of Notebook.
I would like to learn more about tomorrow is scanning.
I am anxious to bring in my flash drive and save some of these ideas to use.
Please slow down.

Day 2: Three new ideas I learned today were: Robert’s lesson on basic Notebook was VERY beneficial. He went slow enough for understanding and has lots of patience!
Flash drive saving of SmartBoard 10 is good to have!
I’m looking forward to learning about scanning tomorrow.

I am so excited to have learned, not only what del.icio.us is, but also to have opened my own account and have some sites bookmarked for future use! I am also very excited to go home and install Notebook 10.o on my computer and start trying some of the things that Robert showed us today in the Notebook mini-lesson. I am really enjoying the SMART Collaborative so far. Thanks!
